New Yves Rocher Volumising and Curling Mascara

Marks & Spencer Unveils First Ever Downton Abbey Beauty Range

Marks & Spencer has announced that it has been granted the licence to produce the first-ever range of official Downton Abbey beauty products in the UK as part of a two year contract between M&S and NBCUniversal. Products will include soaps, body lotions, nail polishes and lip balms. 
The debut collection of Downton Abbey inspired gifts will be available exclusively from October, coinciding with the return of the fourth series this autumn and in time for the Christmas season. It will be available in over 250 M&S stores throughout the UK and online.

New from Kiehl's - Super Multi-Corrective Cream

Kiehl's has unveiled its new Super Multi-Corrective Cream to tackle and correct multiple key signs of ageing.
The cream includes beech tree extract, jasmonic acid and fragmented hyaluronic acid, three anti-ageing ingredients which have been combined before in a cream format.
With 39 trials and 17 months of development, clinical results demonstated that after two weeks, using twice a day, facial wrinkles were visibly reduced, the skin texture was refined, skin elasticity and skin radiance was improved, while visible pore size was reduced, and within four weeks, clinical results doubled on these attributes.

New No7 Lift & Luminate Dark Spot Corrector - Review


New from No7 is their Lift & Luminate Dark Spot Corrector, this is designed to reduce the overproduction on melanin which will in turn cause dark spots to lighten & their appearance lessen. The product contains no bleaching ingredients at all which is great news & is hypo-allergenic so suitable for sensitive skins, the ingredients include saphora, kiwi extract & vitamin c all of which inhibit the over-production of melatonin.

I was lucky enough to receive a tube of the new wonder product from No7, I'm already a huge fan of their Protect & Perfect range so was intrigued by this latest offering! As I'm still a little young for age spots (just!), I kindly asked my Mother In Law to try it out, delighted to be my guinea pig she jumped at the chance after reading glowing reports in a recent magazine! I'm glad to say she wasn't disappointed & in fact noticed only after a week that there was a noticeable reduction in several of the darker age spots that have recently appeared. Now after nearly a month the reduction in their appearance is so much so the need for a new concealer is certainly no longer there & now scored off the shopping list! Over all the density of the colour fades & the actual size is much less which is fantastic! 

A brilliant product over all as it is easy to apply & feels great on the skin, for best results of course follow with a full regime with the Lift & Luminate Day & Night Serum as well as moisturiser containing an SPF.

I would definitely recommend this for anybody who would like to reduce the appearance of their age spots plus it's a lot less invasive (not to mention cheaper!) than salon based treatments which is a great bonus!

Illamasqua Partners With Selfridges for David Bowie Tribute Experience

British cosmetic brand Illamasqua has been chosen by Selfridges to collaborate in its 'David Bowie is all yours' tribute experience. As the V&A stages David Bowie's first major retrospective, the museum has also collaborated with Selfridges on the launch of the store’s own homage to the British icon.

Origins Unveils Touch of Youth facial with Marie Reynolds

Skincare brand Origins has announced it has partnered with celebrity facialist Marie Reynolds to create a bespoke anti-ageing facial technique using the Plantscription skincare range.

InStyle Unveils Winners For Best Beauty Buys Awards

InStyle last night revealed the winners of its 13th Best Beauty Buys Awards. Presented by editor Eilidh MacAskill and model Daisy Lowe, the evening celebrated this annual list of 100 products, as voted by 182 industry experts. Special awards on the night went to the nine entrants to the Hall of Fame, which honours products which have won their categories for three consecutive years for the first time. These included:
