Marchesa and Le Métier de Beauté Collection

Dedication to design, detail and to the experience; Marchesa and Le Métier de Beauté brings back a time when the “craft of the craft” was so important, while simultaneously bringing forward the best in luxury technology. With this like-minded approach, a creative collaboration between the two luxury houses came naturally. Introducing Marchesa for Le Métier de Beauté, the first collection to evolve from this joint venture, a true partnership in beauty, a new endeavor into irresistible luxury.

“Each season,” explains Georgina Chapman, co-founder and designer of Marchesa, “Keren and I introduce a new collection, but with the classic and consistent signature that is Marchesa – we transport our customers back to a time when luxury fashion meant the best in tailoring, design, fabric, etc. When it came to launching a cosmetics collection, we wanted to do the same and we found immediately that Le Métier de Beauté shared these same core values.”

“The Collection takes the unparalleled textures and formulas Le Métier de Beauté is known for and transfixes them with the essence of Marchesa,” says Joanna Vorachek Austin, President of Le Métier de Beauté. “From the sleek packaging and the innovative formulas to the flawless application, the Marchesa for Le Métier de Beauté collaboration brings the best of both brands to the forefront of luxury.”

THE LOOK
The mercurial silver of the Marchesa for Le Métier de Beauté Collection’s outer packaging was directly inspired by Marchesa metallic bugle column dress worn by Sandra Bullock at the 82nd Academy Awards. Its dramatic reflection captures the full range of the Collection.

THE PALETTES
With a nod to true personal style, the collection begins with two palettes created exclusively by Marchesa’s co-founders and designers, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. Latest Make-Up Trends - All That Glitters!

As London Fashion Week draws to a close many looks have swished along the cat walk & this year there has been a definite come back for the 70's era... Glitter featured heavily throughout many shows & looks like it'll be here to stay, so not just a festive season buy, keep your glitter pots for spring/summer 2011!!
The look here was created for Giles by Miranda Joyce, who described the look as "pure Seventies decadence - more so than we have seen at any other show". This couture style used a two tone glitter effect right into the brow, matched with red 'statement' lips, another style that has featured heavily - no more 'Eyes Or Lips', now you can both!
Many styles in London & New York for SS11 have used very bold eye make-up matched with vibrant lips, a definite sign of a new style change to come around for next season.

Celebs With No Make-Up!

Stumbled across this on the the web today & just to make us all feel a bit better on a cold rainy day, when looking glamourous feels almost impossible after we stumble in the door with our frizzy hair & make-up running down the side of our faces! 5PM.co.uk Has A Make-Over As It Launches New Health & Beauty Section!

5pm.co.uk, the country’s top restaurant reservation and review site has been given an exciting makeover with the launch of its brand new Health & Beauty section.

For almost ten years, 5pm.co.uk has enabled it’s users to dine out for less in restaurants across the country. Now the site will show consumers that less is most definitely more in the world of health and beauty by offering exclusive offers, discounts and deals on treatments at top salons and spas.

Whether you are a beauty buff, looking for some holiday deals, planning for a special event or a student on a budget, you will find the very best daily deals on manicures, pedicures, haircuts, tanning, massages, waxing and everything in between on 5pm.co.uk.

The offers will initially be in Glasgow only but will be rolled out across the country in the coming months. Some of the top brands and salons that have already signed up are: Isis Spa, Russell Cowie Hairdressing, Fake Bake Hair & Beauty Boutique, James Dun's House, 29 Spa, Mar Hall, 15 Royal Terrace, Beti Reilly hair and many more....

The site will feature profile pages for salons and spas with descriptions of facilities and photographs meaning people can feel more relaxed about trying somewhere new because they’ve been able to have a peek inside. Users will also be able to review and rate their experiences on the site to gain loyalty points in the same way that they currently can with restaurant bookings.

Says Gillian O’Hara, Health & Beauty Manager, 5pm.co.uk said: “Everyone likes to look good and whether you’re going for that long needed trim or treating yourself or a loved one to a spa day, you no longer need to break the bank. We have partnered with some fantastic establishments to offer an incredible range of deals and we will be adding to them over the coming weeks.”

The innovative new section is yet another development in the already booming business of 5pm.co.uk headed up by Chairman Charles Shaw: “5pm.co.uk has always been a simple business model that works extremely well for both restaurateurs and consumers. Restaurants fill tables that would otherwise be empty and consumers can eat in great restaurants every day of the week for less money.”
“Our research into the Health & Beauty industry has told us that this model can be transferred easily to work for salons and spas. The current economic climate has been tough for this industry, but we know that our users will welcome the opportunity to pamper themselves and still come home with money in their pockets.”

Visit www.5pm.co.uknow to take advantage of both the fantastic new Health and Beauty section and as always the exclusive restaurant offers. Booking is fast, easy and free, you don’t even have to register!
